A common man who took non-conventional path for his life, the path which was stigmatized impossible to walk,he walked and turned the impossible into possible.
The most featured learnings for student to professional , for corporate to government and for personal to social life of an individual or organization.
He started alone, created his team, entered into the warfare. Good amount of struggle resulted into people’s faith; they respected him at first, demolished him at second and elevated him tremendously at third.
Yes, I am talking about the next Chief Minister of Delhi, India Mr. Arvind Kejriwal. Now ,his Story is known to all . I am just trying to draw the picture of practical motivational aspects from his journey on your thought canvas.
Whatever is your profession you always need to enhance four basic human qualities within you,
Positive attitude
Courage to take risk
Ability to manage self and Team
Don’t Relax till you achieve
When positive attitude, courage to take risk and ability to manage team evolve within a person then he creates the history, the historical win against aura of invincibility.
Every one of us (Indians) has been expressing the frustration towards corrupt governance & politics since many decades. Most of the IIT pass out engineers dream for a career abroad and have accepted the fact generations before that nothing good can happen in India.
The invincible dream – One man from this crowed has dreamed to clean the dirty image of Indian Politics and establish the good governance.
No Dream is unrealistic if you have faith in yourself.
The first step towards dream -He formed a new political party in 2012 with ordinary people as members. No money, no power and no appreciation but only criticism has come in his bag. His party has been taken as a joke and many from his own team have got separated on the way.
Expect negative responses from the people , if they all respond positive they all could have been achievers .
The positive attitude– Despite of criticism, no support, no money he has maintained his positive attitude towards the goal. He ambushed all the abuses from all four corners of the critic rectangle and kept working towards his goal everyday one step ahead.
Bad words /criticism do not stick on positive attitude, if a critic makes you feel miserable, be sure you are living with a negative attitude.
The first appreciation– Sticking with positive attitude takes a lot of determination, control over self-emotions, developing ability within of not getting deviated by situational hurdles and shaping ability to convert your best critic into your best appraiser. He started getting public support when he made people to realize that he is working for their benefit. His election campaign for Delhi election2013 has been taken seriously by people of Delhi. When results gone out he got the first appreciation for his tireless efforts and unexpectedly secured good number of seats but still not sufficient to form a Government in Delhi.
You get appreciated when you really become good person and show your goodness for others.
The goal tailoring– When you reach very near to achieve the goal and your feet got frozen a feat before it, you cannot really touch the goal, then you try to stretch your hands as much as possible, you bend your body to provide extra length to your hand so that your figure-tip could reach to the surface of your goal. Even if you can touch it with bare minimum surface area, you cannot grab it for sure and that where you have tailored your goal from gabbing to just touching. You compromise with less of that goal content you have set initially. Imagine your level of confidence of hitting a cricket ball with power to make it a six when you are gripping the bat with full palm versus just touching the bat with a very loose or no grip. The bat itself may slip from your hand, forget about hitting a six. The minority government made by him has not given him a grip and he could not control his discomfort to execute the governance for more than 49 days.
Incomplete achievement never sustain long results.
The Dream converted into Desire– This is the worst situation of a human mindset. A Dream should be broken down into concatenated goals to achieve them one by one but if a Dream is converted into desire , I bet it may not only demolish your dream but your complete existence. Desire has no support to receive not even from the self. When you try to prove your tenacity of achieving desire you are actually turning your positive attitude from humble to arrogant , that’s how you will be perceived, either you wish or don’t. Look at loksabha elections in 2014; same man who has been appreciated in Delhi has been disapproved by whole Nation and got slapped with biggest failure. This time it was not a dream people perceived it as a desire.
Convert desire into dream, dream into goal and goal into action. Never the reverse of it.
The Confidence & Overconfidence– When you are sure about the capabilities and resources you have to achieve some goal , when your faith in yourself and reactions from surroundings are in control and you can mold them for best fit then you feel confident. The key is confidence. Confidence converts into words when you speak firmly ,confidence converts into success when you act firmly.
When you are not sure about capabilities & resources & faith within but you rigidly announce yourself as symbol of success because you have done something right in past ,then you are sounding overconfident. The overconfident Mr. A has been demolished nationwide in national elections India, 2014.
Overconfidence never pays back .
The Mistake and apology – Your biggest mistake which may have brutally burned someone’s alive hope, can ruin your whole credibility and make you lifeless if you are not ready to accept your mistake humbly. When you are really able to bring back your positive attitude from the black hole of ego or overconfidence , the humble you automatically comes alive. A keen introspection within the self, simply dissolves the rigidness of being victor and you feel urge to say sorry for your mistake. If the man ,who has lost all his faith and credibility after first appreciation and then after converting dream into desire, could never come back in to the race in Delhi ‘2015 re-elections .
Mistake ruins ,apologies regain the ruined assets .
The real asset is learning – We all know it very well that we should learn from mistakes . What to learn ? Not to do that mistake again ? Well I am not going to talk about my view or experience when I am explaining about the learning from real example from the struggle of new CM for Delhi. Once you are successful to achieve certain level of faith in yourself and others look at you with hope you have to live that hope at any cost. The moment when any of your activity hurts the hope your achieved milestone disappears. If you have positive attitude & real humble heart within you then you will realize the mistake , recreate the hope with intense commitment and immediately take first step to fulfill the hope. This is how the new CM has implemented his learning from his mistake which returned him thundering majority win , a history which will shine always.
Keep the learning zone of your brain and heart always open . Put a wind chime of positive attitude on the door of that learning zone.
The Achievement – Achievement amuses , when the size of achievement is much much bigger than expected then it may amuse more. This amuse may turn into abuse if an achiever’s arrogance pop out to cover his positive attitude , his most cherish-able asset. He knows this fact very well, I salute his respect to his own learning’s when he announced loud and bold ,”Caution against arrogance!” as first words to his party workers after astonishing victory.
One Achievement should make you more humble than before to plan for second achievement.
