An inception of new era was started  decades back in India . It was in the form of opening the gateway for corporates and multi-nationals to grow in the highly resourceful environment of contemporary India . Resource Demands pulled up the number of Employable Engineers , Managers & Technocrats required to take part in the Growth of all new Corporate world.The transformation has been contagious.

Today according to ET estimates , India is producing 1.5  million engineers which is more than US & China produce together in a year . The two key industries which are hiring these Engineers are IT and Manufacturing sectors , current studies say that they are hiring less as compared to past booming years of  economy.It doesn't mean that less engineers are required ,but the quality expectations has gone much higher than before .

A leading magazine India Today had come out with survey on MBA graduates that number of seats/colleges increased 30% as compared to last few years but quality gone down and only 10% MBA s are employable against the Huge demand from corporates.

Situation puts a challenge , and the challenge is to keep yourself in demand as excellent engineers , managers and technocrats . Matter of the fact is college degree is just the first key to open the doors of employment , but there are more locks on the door that you need to key in . Key in your technical skills , Key in your management skills , Key in your soft skills to make the right impression , Key in your interpersonal skills to adapt the corporate culture and most important key is excellence in each & every activity you do . Lean to be excellent and I bet success is yours .

I say excellence in each activity you do , because its a continuous process and keeps going on after the door is opened and you are in as Professional . Further Growth needs further self motivation to be excellent .

The Game of Chess , the symbol of  strategic thinking and continuous vigor to take right move at right time , represents the fact that few of your initial moves do decide your fate on the board . Thoughtfully taken right steps  may award you a win in less amount of time , but wrong step taken can put you in a situation to struggle for longer ...you may keep loosing your chessmen who are actually your resources to make you win...and come back into the game may be much more difficult .

Again , I would say , strive for excellence and improve your skills . Victory is waiting for you .
